José Manuel Figueroa Valdés
Mr. Figueroa received his law degree from the Catholic University of Chile and he has specialized in real estate. He is counsel to co-ownership associations, office buildings, residential condominiums, subdivisions and shopping centers located in the Metropolitan Area and in Regions. His experience includes legal counsel to major touristic-residential developments in Chile.
Mr. Figueroa is a professor at University Adolfo Ibañez in the courses of Facility Management. Professor of Real State Law at University of los Andes, also at University Austral and of the Diploma in Property Law offered by the International SEK University in Chile. He is a well-known speaker on Property Co-Ownership at seminars and symposia, in the past held by the University of Chile, Universidad del Desarrollo, Central University, Chilean Chamber of Construction, the Chilean Bar Association, the Municipality of Las Condes, the Municipality of Santiago and the Property Management and Administration Association (CGAI-Chile).
His publications include “Seminar: Property Co-Ownership,” (a book co-authored); “The New Legal Regime for Property Co-Ownership”; “Administration of Co-Owned Communities”; and “Property Brokering Legal Regime” (in which he collaborated).
He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association in Santiago.
